I am appalled that you would do this! How many birds, native and otherwise, are going to get killed now because of these predators released into the wild?!!! And all their subsequent litters, more deadly killers. Madness. And you have pictures of grebes and wading birds in your room as though you care about the birds? Here in New Zealand stoats (and weasels and ferrets) are an imported pest and we have tried for years and years to get their exploding numbers down as our native bird populations have been decimated by them.
Eerm in Britain they are not an invasive species. They have every right to be there. What next. You going to ban Lions from africa or tigers from india. You sound idiotic.

I'm so impressed with the thoughtfully constructed outdoor enclosure that includes a stone wall to acclimate the stoats to what is available on the property! This is wildlife rehab at its very best and Robert Fuller is one of those humble caretakers who understands that the needs of the animals come first. You're a fabulous role model!
